The iOS 10 Thread/Discussion

This new release is good, I'm not finding major bugs on my iPhone 5S it is smooth like butter.

The torch light on my 5S got stuck ON and there was no way to turn it off other than powercycle the phone. There are some minor glitches here and there but nothing too serious. I don't approve of the lock screen changes though.

Pretty big update on the Air 2, it's starting up as if it's had a complete reset, wanting iCloud log in, payment card etc.

5s didn't though, just like any other beta update straight to home screen.

Beta 4 is insanely fast! App opening is much faster. Folder opening and closing has been sped up dramatically! It's like having speed intensifier! Wowowow, loving this update! Best iOS update I've seen. Can't believe how incredibly fast beta 4 is.

Any idea when it will be released to public beta testers?

Lots of improvements so far, this looks like the update those wanting to try on a daily driver might consider.

Great,

The public one I'm on now is full of ****, I had a fairly long SMS "thread" from Telkom , from reporting 15 lines , and after 18 or so SMS's , it won't open that "thread" the message app just crashes and goes back to the home screen , sent the feedback via the feedback app already, so will be curious to see if that's one of the things fixed

Why not move to the Dev profile? It's good enough for use now...

Will have a look In the morning on how to do that, do they still charge for that?

No, RedmondPie have a link to the Dev profile, just delete the public one, load the Dev one and you got an uncle called Bob...

I think I posted the link to it 2 weeks ago in this thread.

Thanks for the hint on the Dev Account. Never thought of that...
The Public Beta runs much better than any beta that I got from Apple this far. First time everything worked for me.

My behind has a itch for the Sierra OS update on my MacBook Air
