Typical survival game. Pisses me off but I can't stop playing.
The atmosphere in this game is something else... and 'cause it's so damn difficult to grow to an adult people tend to actually play "properly" and help each other out.
Regardless though, I can still easily piss away an entire evening in no time by purely running around and taking in the scenery. Few things are as satisfying as struggling to stay alive for hours and finally growing into a Triceratops sub-adult, then stabbing a Rex in the ballsack.
Takes a few days of playtime to get the hang of it... doesn't get any easier after that but at least knowing the ropes helps a little bit.
The few "Isla Sorna" servers out there are usually packed. 100+ players at a time.
