I wonder if anyone can help. I recently bought a laptop from The Laptop Shop. After delivery.. only to discover that what I ordered was whas not what I received! Ordered a Lenovo 330s with ssd nvme and t byte hd. Received a Lenovo 330, no ssd, no kb backlight etc.
Long story short after being on the phone for a week and being promised that they will sort it out, nothing happened.
I even decided to hasten the process by ordering a more expensive laptop in order to hopefully get them to deliver and take the rubbish they gave me in the first place. NOTHING!
Their web site don't have a physical address and no one wants to give me the owner's contact detail!
So the reason for posting is to hopefully find some web developer/it guy that could possibly help?

Request a full refund ASAP.

You will make a stupid decision after bad service to go and order even something more expensive. Just get a full refund. Don't think about it. Do it.

Not getting your refund ASAP?

And seeing that you already posted in the other thread, go read what is posted. Maybe see if these frikkadel guys can help you.

Thanks yes exactly what I wanted, for them to refund me and fetch their crap but I gave up on that as they either dont answer the phone or ignore my whatsapps! Then if you do get through, you end up with a different guy making promises again only to end up in bullshit!

I am no defending them, don't know them from a bar of soap, neither do I know you. But we are currently in a lockdown. Most companies communication is a mess and if you do get a respond you will be very lucky. I am surprised they sold you something during lockdown knowing they won't communicate and also have a notice on their Facebook page saying they won't communicate. Just make sure you ask for a refund ASAP, so that when they do reply they can't say you didn't request a refund. Don't take no for an answer.

If you paid by credit card, ask your bank where you stand, show proof of the shop not answering you etc

Again, record everything, the more proof you have the better

Edit, more info:

When we get charge back requests with our merchant account the banks first try to solve the situation, maybe this will get them into action

Paid by eft, but yes I do have lots of proof, as in all the whatsapps and thank goodness I made a screen capture of their add for the laptop I was suppose to get!
They since removed it....
Will go to my bank and also police to lay a charge. Then will try and see how I can get hold of the owner or the address of the warehouse.

Does the courier waybill not have an address?
No, they clever, used their own people to deliver and when I asked for documentation he said my invoice they mailed me is my guarantee etc. I was to eager to accept because my original laptop was stolen recently!
On hind site, I should have noted the registration number.

Surely, when you are thinking of spending money with an online store, you do a bit of research?
I recommend Google (you must have heard of that), as one of your research tools.

Eish, ja, I remember looking at them a couple of months ago, noticed there was no physical address on their Website and walked away.

I don't trust 'no name' traders with no physical address for expensive stuff.

If I order and pay for a Ferrari and a fkkd old Beetle gets delivered to me the supplier will spend a long time trying to pull his head out of his ass.

Sitting with a similar issue. Bought a Dell and was told and confirmed on invoice that I get a 2 year Dell warranty with my laptop. Problems with the motherboard and trying to use Dell's warranty to replace it and they don't know about the warranty. They claim it is the seller that provides the warranty and not Dell. Multiple promises to sort it out and then zero response to Whatsapps, emails, etc. I'm reporting them to Dell's fraud unit.

Regarding an address. On my invoice the following address appears:
128 hyper villars Paradys Street
Brackenfell, Cape town
7562
0840354116
