The latest Windows 10 update has big performance problems

A new update for Windows 10 released at the end of August has caused performance issues for many users due to high CPU usage.

According to a report by Windows Latest, users who downloaded the Windows 10 KB4512941 update noticed that the operating system was using 30-40% of their CPU in the background.

The Cortana (SearchUI.exe) process is generating CPU usage spikes for some users and the process has recorded a bump of around 30-40 percent in Task Manager, though the usage depends on the number of cores a processor has.

Cortana ... Should be disabled in any case.
Who uses it?

Thought I was going crazy, the PC would freeze up for a second every now and again. Due to 100% CPU usage.

Cortana ... Should be disabled in any case.
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search]
"AllowCortana"=dword:00000000
