The "Latte effect"

Last night I splurged a bit, since it was payday and for a good friend I havent even seen this month. Now back to the belt tightening and just working and staying at home, surfing the net and playing games.

Average rental in a shopping centre is around R300 - R350 per sq metre, take a tiny coffee shop of 100 squares = R35000.00 p/m on rent , now work out how many cups of coffee you need to sell just to pay the rent! :o
 
You lost me there. Why the reference to Kenya?

Coffee beans are grown there. It is one of their biggest export commodities.
A major downturn for Starbucks would heavily affect their exports.
