Apologies for making this my first post. Considering how many MW2 players there are here I was hoping some of you could help.

I missed out on the first MW because of a PC that didn't like PunkBuster. Now I have a new PC but like most I am pissed off about the lack of dedicated servers.

If you have NO friends on your steam friends list playing MW2, how difficult will it be to get a game once you have joined the local community's group? Is it worth it if you struggle to find games?

If you do find games what do you guys think of it so far? Worth the R450 for it? Sorry if questions are repeated there are so many MW2 threads its hard to keep up.

If you join the community groups(3 of them i saw), you will see every night there is about 150 online playing the game. The people will invite you as you play.

If you give me your nick ill invite you and invite you whenever i see that you are online.

Even if you just go to Find game then youll probably pick up a game within a few minutes.

Look its definately not dedicated servers but the game itself is brilliant. Its well worth the R500 for the MP alone in my opinion.

Go to this thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=202681 and add your name.

Once you added your name go and join the group.
There is another group where you replace the mbb to MW2ZA and then you will have two groups joined on your list now you can just add the friends from there to your list and bingo you have notifications when they go and and play.

Alot of the good people will invite you to a game and you can join by accepting the invite.

Good luck see you on the battle field.

On the other hand darren.
Just join a game on TDM or so and let IW choose players for you 8 out of the 12 players for the game will be SA peeps. (normally) otherwise kick some foreign butt

Thanks for the responses guys! I'll have to think long and hard if I wanna get this game for the weekend :)

You don't specifically need an invite either, you can just check who is in-game on your friends/group list and join from there.
