Do you know that after 14 years of democracy in SA, townships (a metaphor for African reserves) are still without ADSL? Over the past 16 months the Telkom call centre has fed us with one lousy excuse or explanation after another over why a struggling township businessman like me cannot have ADSL.

Are there any parts of any townships in South Africa that have ADSL? Is ADSL completely absent from Soweto? Are these sorts of stats available anywhere?
