The LONMIN share price thread

Seems I'm the only one thinking that once the rights issue shares hit the market, share prices will plummet drastically.

I mean a ton of .21c shares will enter at once, surely that will have a huge impact on the current value?

Definitely the price will dip to the average which will be below 40 cents

I mean they are issuing 27 billion shares at 0.21 cents

Why am I the only one scared to touch these shares with a barge pole?

Lonmin is in such financial shyte. Don't you guys think that these discounted shares are there to try and recover revenue?
I think they had a loss of R 85m in March (6/12)

What was the reason for the price drop when this topic started?

"However, if Lonmin’s restructuring is successful, then I think the shares could easily double in value quite quickly."

You think a restructuring is on the table?

Short term yes, but inevitably Lonmin will fold

This is the third rights issue in 6 years, so my motivation is to make a quick buck on a failing company, hence why I buy below 50 cents and sell above 105 cents

Currently I am holding untill after the 11th then I might make my last purchase before I exit lonmin for good

So another company will willingly pump money into a mine that has just this year been implicated in an Emmy award winning documentary? Good luck with your investment guys

It wasn't the mine that shot people...
