The LONMIN share price thread

Trading at 70 cents at the moment
Thx for that platinum link on moneyweb, read full article now.

There's another platinum share you might want to look in to. WESIZWE PLATINUM. Exploration company, currently building their first mine in the richest platinum fields. Been with them since almost 8 odd years ago. The mine will have a 30+ life expectancy.
Currently the share is in the 40c.
Financially backed by China

Market opens at 9 and auction happens from 9 till 9:15.

On mobile and know this. Just meant that general trading only starts at 09:15 after the opening auction. Same happens at close where the last 15 minutes is for the closing auction.

what is this auction people speak of?
It basically means the share price is determined by matching the buyers to the sellers. Something along those lines, I was also wondering about it when I first heard the phrase, but cannot recall 100% now :)

When did they get Chinese backing because I don't like buying into a downwards trend unless I know something is on the table

After 2008 crash......nobody anticipated that. They had other financing options and local, but went to china.
Not sure what you mean by downwards. The share has been stable for a couple of years now.
Remember they're not producing the metal yet

You referring to Mittal here?

I accidentally bought a ton of shares at 73c because of lagging price (said 61c lol), luckily sold everything at 75c, waiting for a big drop again

So I was reading ee prices. What does it mean by transfer out fees? Says R100 per share? If lonmin shares only worth few cents don't want to pay R100 to cash them out

Is there somewhere I can go to pay for live prices occasionally without joining a full platform
