The LONMIN share price thread

Those who sold Lonmin on EE, how long did it take for the money to reflect in your account?

So I was reading ee prices. What does it mean by transfer out fees? Says R100 per share? If lonmin shares only worth few cents don't want to pay R100 to cash them out

Think it is R100 per type of share (i.e. move your 2000 LON shares for R100 to another broker)

I'm just a noob, but from what I understand. Funds would be available immediately for trading, but takes up to 2 weeks. That is 10 days to clear on EE for transfer, & up to 3 days to get paid into your bank account after transfer.

Takes some time - around 20 working days for cash to settle if I remember correctly. But they def pay out

When you sell a share, it will take up to 10 (ten) business days after the date of trade, for the proceeds of the sale to be paid into your account

This is in line with the JSE's Equities Rules which currently works on a settlement period of 5 days after the date of the transaction (referred to in Investment terms as T+5) and the EasyEquities Terms and Conditions which make provision for a maximum of 10 business days for settlement to allow time for conclusion of our settlement processes.

That is if you move to PSG or so

shall we chip in and rather subscribe to this thread? that way only 1 person has to pay and rest of us get updated via the blog?

Just a question out of interest - how many of you purchased shares in the 30c rate and managed to sell ALL your shares around the 90c+ rate?

But you never got the rights options because you only bought so late.

I'm essentially going to get a crap load of shares for almost no money (if I choose to exercise it) and if those jump up in value will stand to make a pretty penny.

Still unsure though.

Mine shows the rights offer but I didn't pay anything for it

I bought a few @30c, plus some more around @60c, haven't sold a single thing yet as I'm far to busy at work.

Current average share price is now @46c

Will probably just hang onto everything for a few years and see what happens (if they still around for that long)
