The magnetic ink which can automatically fix your torn clothes

This is a brilliant innovation. That being said one must assume a negative impact in other areas of the production chain.

In future people will not replace torn clothes so easily because it will be repaired. Less demand, less work, less jobs. Stupid example maybe but I think you should get the bigger picture. Let's not stop at clothing....
 
Ahh, finally a fix for tears at the crotch area of jeans.

People who does that are stupid. All you need is a bit of thread and a needle. So again how does this lead to job losses?
