Please do something about the RAM bloat that has been happening over the last 12 months.

It's crazy that the OS will gobble up 5GB of RAM before any browsers or applications are started up

No please stop. Enough of the Settings kak with greyscale everything. I've already replaced the crappy start menu with StartIsBack and use Control Panel wherever possible.
