At least some of our academy come through the ranks to the 1st team. The same cannot be said for a lot of other English clubs and a lot in other leagues across europe as well!

I would love to hear from him which clubs have the "greatest" youth academies and to show me the players that have come from there.

Puyol
Oleguer
Dos Santos
Bojan
Xavi
Iniesta
Valdes
That is 8 players who play in the first team at the same time. That just a few, not too mention the countless players that have been poached from the club when they were younger.
Fabregas comes to mind.

Well its diferent.
Bojan made his first team appearance this year he was 16. He made his CL debut at 16 as well
Dos Santos made his when he was 17
Iniesta made his debut when he was 20
Xavi made his when he was 18
Puoyl made it when he was 18
So it differs. Whats your point regarding this?

Similar to United in the 90s. Have to agree that they have not been as good as in those years of late, but to say that our academy is bad is simply wrong.

I meant the year they started. Else I could also name old players like Scholes, Beckham, Neville etc...

I would prefer it if you said it was not as good as it was in the 90s. It is still not 'bad'

they all joined when they were 11, 12, 13 etc. Some when they were even 9

No man. If they joined like 20 years ago and now are like 35, then they are hardly still the youth...
Myabe you could just tell us how old the various players you cited are now then...

It is common knowledge that the Barca players join the academy at that age. hahahah @ blanket statements.
Why must i prove anything to you. If you didnt know about the youth academies, well now you have learned something today.
This was never ever about how old the current players are. If you google enough, you will find out that every deacde Barca has produced vast amount of players.
In their current squad, ages range from 17 - 30. Most of the players are younger than 24.
