Brown instead of Neville G :(

And no Tevez??

After Super cup , Neville really dissapointed, Brown ftw :(
Tevez, well he is none the better than Rooney running around like a horse with no end result.

Gary Nevllie FTW. Always :)

I'd drop Rooney before dropping Tevez. On current form especially.

Well he can only do better than he has thus far this season :o

definately.

I would give this formation a try

VDS
BROWN RIO VIDIC EVRA
HARGREAVES SCHOLES/CARRICK GIGGS/NANI
TEVEZ
ROONEY BERBATOV

If you swap Brown for Neville G then we agree :)

And I'd take Scholes on current form over Carrick, and Giggs over Nani.

Neville IS Man United. If he can walk, he can play, he must play :)

He has been sorely missed. Brown is just so toilet coming forward. He adds NOTHING in attack :(

neville gave away our Super Cup, i lost faith in him

Huh, by doing what?

And the supercup is the european charity shield = worth not much :)

poor defending which allowed the goals especially the 1st one.

it is a UEFA cup in the end, which is a BIG prize.

Neville is too risky i think :o

Neville has just returned from injury after being out for what? More than a season? Give it time... besides, he needs to come back at some point. :)

TBH, I'd be happy if he can just defend. It's nice if a defender can play an attacking role, but that is not the role of a defender. That's why we have midfielders and strikers :)

Thing is, if the wingbacks can also attack then it adds another dimension on the right just like Evra adds down the left. Gary Neville was about the best in the game at that, after learning his crossing skills from Beckham.

He is still a bit rusty, but I have faith he will back with a bang :)

I sure as hell hope so. What's he now? 33? 34? :(

That's pushing it

Maybe :p

I wonder how Man City will perform with all these new stars in their team now. Clearly, buying your way to victory does not guarantee you trophies, just as Chelski :) But they should at least actually challenge the Big Four this time.

They already have two 3-0 wins under their belt, which is more than can be said for a lot of teams :o

Lol yeah, things are gonna get real interesting now. Expect them to be right up there challenging one of these days. City of Manchester will soon control the English Premier League
