Last night Rooney played in position and never made an impact.
Just further points out the boys Shyt Play. The only thing to see now is...whether playing wayne next to a hold-up striker like uncle Berbs... will make him improve.
If I still dont see an improvement, It's more than just a slump
Oya bout the Villareal game, wasn't impressed, especially after seeing our latest PL challenges thrash a team 4-0 at home.... And even if its Villareal, I was expecting a better performance (I think the commentator said something of a Second team Villareal on the pitch)
About the LiverFool game, sad to see we played so bad in the later minutes of the 1st half. AND EVEN AFTER TALKING WITH THE GAFFER in the change rooms, we still started poorly in 2nd half.
say ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEY SUCKS!!!!!![]()

Nah. I can't say "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEY SUCKS!!!!!".
I can't say Chelsea will win the EPL either.
I just want to say something nice.
Oh shyte, I'm on 1000th.
I will delete this post later.
OMG... Do you even watch how and where these people play for United???
Comparison of Neville vs Brown, how many times have you seen Neville's failure to play players offside only for them to score? How many times have you seen Neville gone attacking when compared to Wes Brown? age of Neville = 34 age of Brown = 29
How can you place Nani in Anderson's role? the one plays left wing the other plays central midfield...
problem with Rooney is he thinks he's a Machine i.e Gattuso, Machines don't score goals, they break down playHe needs to learn what Van Nistelrooy perfected... pouch around the goal area and SCORE goals...
I'm guessing when Berbatov is fit Ferguson will most likely toy around with a 4-3-3 formation.
I don't think Fletcher is good enough to be in there for United. Ideally I would say Midfield should consist of
Nani - Left Wing, Scholes - Central Midfield, Hargreaves Central Midfield, Ronaldo Right wing.
It's so nice to see blank posts(Yes, I have them on ignore
)
We're Missing Carlos Already
In response to those calling United fans fickle for our reaction to Ronaldo's entrance last night I would suggest that people should not mistake support for forgiveness. The majority of Utd fans that I know are far from happy with the summer's goings-on but when any player pulls on the red shirt then he gets our support regardless of our opinions of him as a person. England fans may want to take note here.
My second point is that I can't believe how little has been made about the damaging effect that Carlos Quieroz's departure has had on the team. Whilst Fergie possesses many great qualities as a manager, 'tactical genius' has never been one of them and our least successful periods have always coincided with him not having an assistant (I count the time with Jim Ryan and Mike Phelan as No. 2 in this as neither are forward thinking enough or have the strength of personality to be up to the task).
Kidd, Smith and Quieroz stood up to him (Quieroz had to talk Fergie out of bringing Fletcher on in Moscow!) and McClaren came armed with enough progressive ideas to be given a fairly free reign on the tactical/training side. The fact is that most of our success in the last two years has been down to the 4-1-2-3 instigated by Quieroz. Since his departure we've reverted back to a fairly uninspiring 4-4-2. The main problem with this, and God only knows how Fergie can't see it, is that we simply don't possess a central midfield good enough to play this system.
Scholes and Giggs are painfully past it, Anderson is promising but has flattered to deceive so far, Hargreaves seems to be the new Saha and Carrick (Capello seems to have sussed how average he is) and Fletcher are liabilities in a central two as neither have the composure, positional sense or ability to put in a tackle to play without the cover of an anchor man.
I'm not sure whether the change is due to a lack of understanding of Quieroz's methods or an act of stubbornness on the manager's part but the frankly ludicrous selections for the last two games (on Saturday we shoe-horned three central midfielders and three strikers into said 4-4-2!) suggest to me that we are going to stumble along until someone in the back room has the balls to stand up to the boss. Unfortunately, right now, I can't see anyone likely to do that.
Ray R, Man Utd (we'll still finish ahead of Liverpool though), Manchester
Thanks for this valuable input I am sure.
If you think Wes Brown adds more in attack than Gary Neville then you are not just stupuid but plain wrong.
If you just started watching football recently maybe you are unaware that he was the heart and soul of United's defence until injury forced him onto the sidelines.
As for Anderson, I wouldn't play him at all if I had the choice. The same can be said of a lot of United's midfield of late.
My ideal team would be 4-4-3 or 4-4-1-2 if you wanna be a d1ck about it...

Make any more sense to you now?
Er, no I am not.wait wait wait. youre constantly complaining about rooney lacking goalscoring capabilities and you put tevez behind him (and tevez is more prolific - well... just).
I think either way could work.whereas rooney slightly behind tevez slightly behind berba would work brilliantly as rooney would provide tonnes of assists even if he werent to score. and tevez would be closer to the goal... erm... because he scores more and would thus have more chances than rooney. just my 2c
