2.5 year waiting period it was for them.
3 guys put the money up for it and share it between them and to the occasional friend who comes up for a visit ;)
 
Thought last night's result was pretty solid. Can't believe we didn't manage to score at least one goal.
Inter were dreadful in the 1st half, improving in the second. Just hope that the lack of an away goal doesn't come back to haunt us. I don't think it will ,though.
 
Yeah, I feel we have the upper hand now especially with Vidic back and Wes Brown should play as well... Curious if AF will put together an all out attacking team that goes for goal, or if he goes defensive minded or w/e. Will be an interesting match :)

eish I'd rather play O'Shea over Brown any day... he's been out far too long and doesn't have the match fitness...

True true but who set up Ronaldo for that goal in the UEFA final last eyar :p

But yeah, seeing as it was a draw, we have to score 2 goals now to advance?
 
no,
we cant concede goals at old trafford because if we draw 1-1 it will be inter who will go through on away goals. but to be safe, yes we have to score 2 goals.

If the score ends up being 1-1 Inter go through (as they would have an away goal against 1 home goal).
 
but i think we will win comfortably, because inter didn't really impress me at the san siro and that's home ground, plus we have vidic back for the next game which is good and lets hope we have neville or brown or rafael back.
and this time rooney has to start.
