And i do agree, 200% Banshees are insane. The creep me out too, they look fsken evil

You know what unit freaks me out? The those freakin Ninja chicks!!! They make me feel like screaming whenever they get close to me "OMGGGGG GET IT OFF GET IT OFFFFF MEEEE!!!"

But ye, agree with banshee comment too :D

hahah, once the ninja's absolutely destroyed me, she/he got up close and did like a 6 hit twirly combo with those swords. Dead.
Also saw a ninja chick go execution style on a team mate, sword straight through the heart, was awesome :D

Damn, i wanna play single player but i just can't tear myself away

Any1 else disappointed with the limited movement of the single player. ME2 you could go any where and scan for anomalies and minerals if you wanted to take a break form the normal missions. Or am i missing something?

Awesome none the less and multi-player is loads of fun.
 
I dig the scanning system in place, its far better than I would have thought it would be. That being said, I miss the scanner mini-game. I like the risk factor one now must contemplate!

I generally prefer sp to mp. I just do it to get my galatic readiness up!

I had that same issue...

Went early to BT on friday morning, went home at lunch to install... it refused to install from the disc... copied the z01 file on the first disc, and the .zip file on the 2nd disc - extracted both files in to the <Origin game installation folder>\Mass Effect 3\
Restarted Origin and it said Ready to Install instead of Ready to Download

(Mentioning this here in case anyone else can't install the game from the disc)

18 hours in, loving it!

Might be the same engine as ME2, but there are hardly any load times, visuals are better, lightning is immersive, gameplay is smoother and more intense :D

Hardest choice so far is choosing Miranda or Ashley... :p
 
:confused:A bit of a struggle with the Updating of Origin. But managed to get the game installed from Disc. Read a couple of forums that you have to Restart Origin after you Redeem your code. Only then will it start installing from the Disc.

My PC is below Recommend settings. Was amazed that my Nvidia 7800GS AGP 512MB was able to run it with no Glitches.:D
Dont need to buy another Machine. I'm a Happy Chap. Love this Game.

Anyone else finding the Journal to be a significant downgrade? In ME2 the main missions and side missions were separate, now everything is just lumped into one place.

Also, after you completed certain milestones in a mission, the journal was updated to tell you what to do next. Now it only shows the original summary, which means if you forget what to do or get stuck, you'll have to go online to Google.

Yup - i agree.

The "back office" part of the game is no where near as good as it was in ME2. This is my opinion of course.
But the gameplay is still amazing. Couple more minutes then I will tackle it again.
 
I'm so disappointed now. I ordered a copy of the n7 edition last week from kalahari - told me there was stock, and this morning they cancelled my order because they don't have stock left :-(

Had the same issue - I ordered a game that was shown as in stock on the website - 2 days later they mail to say order was canceled and money to be refunded. Was not for mass effect but similar circumstances. Also mailed that kalahari guy on here about it, but its been couple of days with no reply. As stated above - use takealot.
