i wonder if this country will be ready when this cycle ends -- la nina goes by bye .... and the poo poo hits the fanThe latest seasonal forecast looks good. We are entering a pretty sustained La Nina period and, the AOO index has gone substantially negative, hence the cold front pushing from the deep southwest.
These two phenomena are colluding which means the seasonal forecast is for an above-normal wet period at least until December. Pretty much everywhere, even for part of the Cape.
It's starting to mass again here in Randburg. We actually got about 5 spots earlier in the morning - or that could have been a couple of birds.Early days yet
