More tech, same soul: 2026 Mazda CX-3 Active Auto arrives with key upgrades
Mazda has updated the entry-level CX-3 Active Auto, focusing on interior upgrades to improve connectivity and interface usability.
The exterior continues with the brand’s established KODO design language, characterised by sculpted body surfaces and a compact crossover stance.
Mazda’s signature front grille remains a central design feature, flanked by slim headlights integrated into the front fascia. The rear of the CX-3 maintains a simple layout with a roof spoiler and integrated tail lamps.
Interior
Inside, the CX-3 Active Auto features a driver-focused cabin layout now centred around Mazda’s MZD Connect infotainment system.
The system is accessed via a new eight-inch colour display mounted on the dashboard, paired with Mazda’s Commander Dial controller fitted on the centre console.
Smartphone integration is standard, with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay supported. Audio is delivered through a six-speaker sound system, while the infotainment interface allows access to navigation, media and connected services.
Cabin materials include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and soft-touch surfaces in key contact areas.
Pricing: R440 000.
