Ground Control & Expansion, aaah good times IMO that was a good game and took a long time too as the dificulty just went up as you progressed, spend about 2 months on the game and about 1 on the expansion it's free to play these days... never realy got around to GC2,

Have to agree with Alan85.In fact any of the Championship manager / football manager games is highly addictive.You cannot clock the game as there is no end.Being playing the CM01/02 for 8 years now regularly

Ultima Online for around 2yrs (was a late starter)
Everquest for 5yrs ... way too many expansions ...

Single / Multiplayer offline has got to be Diablo2 and LOD. My son and I start it, get quite far and then save our chars and uninstall it. We have to play D2 at least once a year!

Yea! too bad they are not making a new one soon that was a realy good game!
Diablo 2, GW is the closest thing i have found to it.
