Welldone to Rossi for staying on top of his game this season.
The Yamaha seems to be riding perfectly this year, very little problems.
Good on them.

Thoughts and opinions about MotoGP welcome here anytime.

I live for Motogp :D

Ducati fan :D:D

Rossi doing well again. I wish Stoner was on top again though :)

I love Ducati too. But Rossi is always going to be a legend hey!

I know that nobody will ever forget what he did one the Camel Yamaha in Welkom.
Brilliant stuff.

I was at the last race in Phakisa a few years back. Sitting right on the hairpin turn. There is only one person in the world that can slide a bike around a hairpin the way the Doctor does ;)

Seriously, I'm a big fan of the doctor.

Even bought his biography. Quite a funny chap.
He is getting old though and one day his reign will end.

When he was on the Honda, there was no way anyone could beat him. He moved to Yamaha so he would get more of a chalenge. I hope to see him prove he's greatness before he retires and brings the Kawasaki to a victory season. That will prove beyond any doubt he is the greatest the world has ever seen. Kawasaki is the worst bike in the whole history of the MotoGP.

If he can win a season on one of those

But I know he is capable of doing it :)

Well Rossi moved to Yamaha to prove a point.
That point was that the rider wins the race not the bike.
he already proved that.
He would have gone to Ducati but according to the Doctor their attitude was similar to Honda. That there bike is the best and that no matter who rides it they will win.
No doubt Ducati is the strongest bike on the track.
So going to ducati would have been a step in the wrong direction for Rossi's cause.
Yamaha also offer more money and allowed him to bring his mechanics from honda along with him.(Something that ducati would never have allowed)

So Yamaha was his choice.

Can anyone give me a reason for the bike manufacturers not having "Dry Clutches" on production bikes as yet ?

I would love to know, I think that would be awesome on a Production bike ;)

Most of ducati's road bike have dry clutches.
The Ducati monster for example.

Apparently they give of a "rattle" when riding.
Maybe this is why the other manufacturers prefer not to use it.

Another thing Ducati uses more than any other manufacturer is the Desmodromic valve operating system.
I think only Ducati and mercedes uses it.:p

Not much interest

Wow I seriously thought that more people would want to discuss MotoGP.
