The new pc build thread. Need a new PC?

I'm actually getting pretty close to the point where I make a post with 3 or 4 different setups (high end gaming, mid end, productivity etc) and expected pricing. Only thing stopping me is the amount of effort its going to take, but I guess in the long run it'll work out to less effort than replying to all the "Build my PC for me" posts.

Each person has unique requirements . And some components + offers change rapidly. At the end of the day, if somebody is going to invest a lot of money into a new machine, they're gonna get huge benefit by crowdsourcing their research to these forums. Especially when there's so many helpful people on here .

myBB is awesome for this.

This idea isnt bad, but the reason people ask here is because the advice is expert, qualified, tried and tested. Obviously they are all different as well, with different needs and budgets.

Besides, what would Archer, Peanut and Pada do with all their spare time if there was a " One build to rule them All! "

I say bring on the posts, its nice to see whats new and happening from the experts.

Edit: if this happens, I want one thread for all Evolution, Telkom, Cell C Data Bundle, Wow Latency and My GF Hates me threads. Sticky and merge all of those, and I will bow to your request for a New PC Thread

I never said it was one build though, it is just a thread you go into say i have x amount to spend and want this or that.

So instead of having 10 threads a week you have one. Peanut pada and archer can work it in one thread instead of replying 5 times a day in different threads .
