The noobs starter guide : FAQ's

Okay so im up and running with Guild Wars. 4 of us are playing, but it only allows 2 people per party. How do I get more people into my party when i start the game?
 
Simple answer. You can't.

As you progress through the game your party size will increase.

When you hit post searing (you're in pre searing now) your party size will increase to 4. I think it then increases to 6 when you hit Yaks Bend. I think the next jump is in the southern shiverpeaks when it then jumps to 8.

Where can one aquire this game without having to go online and purchase it ?

:cool: I answered you in the other thread as well. There is also Take2 - www.take2.co.za, and Kalahari - www.kalahari.net
They might be cheaper. Think Take2 is R265 for each one, Prophecies and Factions.
 
Also have a look in your local CNA and other computer shops.

Went to CNA and game at La Lucia Mall today. Sold out :(
Phoned Unreal Internet Cafe in Pavilion. Sold out :(
Will phone around some more...
 
I had trouble finding it in durbs as well. Eventually found it at the horribly overpriced Incredible Connection in Gateway.
 
If it was over 300 then yea I agree, Just came back from BT games in pavilion (didnt even know it existed!) with 2 copies, one for my mate and for me :)
 
So you were the one who got the last copies at BT Games!!
I bough 2 copies from www.digitalplanet.co.za, they are selling them for R233. Cheapest place ive found so far and Ive looked everywhere.
I then went to every shop in Pavillion on Sunday to buy my girlfriend a copy so she could play with me, the only place that had stock was Incredible Corruption for R299. They still had two in stock after I bought that one.

Was actually going to go to L&L coz they had 3 available. But id rather support BT :p
 
Ok i been at this for an hour now and its starting to get irritating..

Put in disk 1 and it does its thing. Put in disk 2 and its doesnt respond

wtf ? do I have a faulty disk or something? I even tried making an image of it, same thing

*edit - k works on brothers pc... must be my cd rom. Arggh

I've explored about 3% in post searing. Lvl 10 now. Still got a loong way to go im guessing...Lil Death whats your char name? Will look for you online.
 
I have a char pre-searing atm. Up to now I have mostly played factions since its easier to level there. Will probably go post today. Send me a whisper if you see me around. Charname is Unifying Death. Mesmer atm, still deciding on secondary class. Probably Necro to fit with name :p
 
Okay so I have a question. If I have a character is Post Searing, and a character is Pre Searing. Is there a way to transfer items from my character in post searing to the character is pre searing? If so...how?
