The official Battlefield 4 thread

Hi guys,

So I know I am a little late joining the BF4 scene, but getting my copy this Friday. And this may sound stupid, but just how do I connect to the SA servers, and is there any active players that would mind me tagging along in their squad to get used to the game?

I do play fairly good I would say and still play PS2, Crysis3, BL:R etc. BF4 just caught my interest.

Hi There

So once you install the game all all the multilayer styffs will happen through the browser. If you hit the multiplayer tab you can set up your region to Africa and you will have the SA servers easy as that :)

Should probably figure everything out by myself once i get the game, just excited at the moment, wanting to know how every works.

No probs dude, happy to help. I have invested close to 600 hours in this game so I know my way around :D
 
So i got the game a day early, anyone have an idea of what the patch size might be after installation?
Might get onto campaign while it downloads in the background, as I only have a 2Mb line.

Premium or not? If premium, bloody huge. Otherwise maybe a gig.

No, standard edition, first want to try out the game, might purchase shortcut packs/premium at a later stage. Download was @87% this morning, ~950MB thus far, but thanks. Any idea if the Win7 fps is still worse than 8.1, read alot of complaints about that.

No idea, I run Win8, but not 8.1. I don't have any issues atm.
