Well, seeing as Man City have one and Tottenham have one - why not Inter?

Just so that I can ask questions about the Milanese teams without having to slutter up the forum.

So... on with it then eh?

stefan9... Do you think Santon wil move after Cannavaro's comments? Also, do you reckon that Inter are stronger now that Ibra has left. I know there has been little tome to make an honest judgement, but so far... any thoughts?

Too short time to tell if Ibra's absence is effecting the team. Hell, they only played 2 games!!!!!!!!

Santon won't leave. Cannavaro is just trying to cause issue in the inter camp. Good that mou called him on the fact that he left out giovinco, legrotaigle and for that matter alex dell piero but focused on santon and ballotelli. Pretty poor behavior from cannavaro but nothing new when it comes to him.

Season is long and santon will get his game time. The kid is 18, mou will manage it correctly.

Overall the inter squad is better on paper whether that translates on the pitch we will only know at the end of the season.

You excited for our head to head Stefan?

When Eto comes back to Barca and Ibra goes back to Inter? Should be a cracker of a game.

It will be an exiting game but at the end of the day both teams should progress from the group so its not as exiting as a knockout game. But I am looking forward to see how inter measure up to the current cl champs.

So that I can talk about AC Milan without having to open another thread or get RAS'd by stefan9 :p

Also in Italy the two teams are referred to as Inter and Milan not as AC Milan and Inter Milan.

That it would! Has Santon said anything about Canna's comments (I thought the Mourinho ones were pure genius tho':D)?

Nothing official or from a reliable source. some papers who are know to have an anti inter agenda did report some quotes saying he hasn't talked to mou but would see in january and that he wants to go to the wc. But these quotes haven't been widely reported and knowing these papers they as well been made up.

Giuseppe Baresi(Inter assistant manager) had this to say:

Beppe Baresi: Davide Santon Has Inter Future
The Nerazzurri’s assistant manager has allayed fears the 18-year-old prodigy will leave the club to further his Italy career.

Inter full-back Davide Santon’s future was at the center of a bitter war of words between his coach Jose Mourinho and Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro earlier this week.

The Juventus defender urged Santon to leave the Italian champions to boost his chances of making the Azzurri squad for next summer’s World Cup tournament in South Africa.

Cannavaro’s comments irked Inter coach Jose Mourinho who, in turn, ‘invited’ the veteran centre-back to give the same advice to Nicola Legrottaglie and Sebastian Giovinco who, like Santon at Inter, are finding their first-team opportunities limited in Turin.

But Mourinho’s assistant manager, Beppe Baresi, has now weighed into the debate, reassuring that Santon is by all means part of the Nerazzurri project.

“He will stay at Inter and I hope he will do so for 25 more years,” Baresi told reporters after Inter’s friendly match with Lugano.

Santon has yet to feature in Serie A this season, but Marcello Lippi has kept faith in him for Italy’s World Cup qualifiers and the right-back made a substitute appearance in Georgia last night.

He has now come out and stated he is staying at Inter. That should put that to rest but knowing Tuttosport and co they will twist the words some how....

Davide Santon: I’m Staying Put At Inter
The Italian wing-back has ignored the advice of the Azzurri captain.....

Despite the advice from Fabio Cannavaro it seems that the young wing-back has clear ideas on his future. After the comments of the Juventus centre-back outraged Inter coach Mourinho, it appears that Santon is focusing solely on giving 100 percent for the Azzurri and the Italian champions.

“I want to stay at Inter and all I’m thinking about is playing for the Nerazzurri,” he declared to GazzettadelloSport.

After featuring for the final 30 minutes of Italy’s unconvincing win over Georgia on Saturday night, the rising star then commented on Lippi’s decision to push him further up the field.

“This time I played as a winger and I have no problems with that. It’s up to the coach to make the decisions and I will always try to do the best I can.”

Santon will be hoping for some more playing time as La Nazionale take on Bulgaria in Turin on Wednesday evening.

Curva Nord's banner for ibra during the week. For those who don't understand Italian it says "We loved you, but you haven't learned respect...
Now that you have kissed a new shirt, it is you who must suck it!"

I'm waiting to see Ibra kiss Real's shirt in 2 seasons time :P

Seems like Inter's plan is getting some heat.

Inter's failure to beat European champions Barcelona on home turf has caused a split reaction from the media around the continent.

Barca had the best chances of the game and looked sharper than the Italians, who took a defensive stance.

The Italian papers had lenient views.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport led with the headline: "Inter Draw, Barcelona Better, The Nerazzurri Hold On."

Il Corriere Dello Sport: "It's Only A Half Inter. They Need To Improve."

Tuttosport: "Barcelona Siege, Inter Resist."

The Spanish press hailed the European champions as if they had won the tournament again, and Inter were heckled.

Mundo Deportivo led: "All That Was Missing Was A Goal."

Sport: "The Champions Were The Best, San Siro Saw Our Class."

Marca: "Pep's Men Fought Like A Bull, But Were Not Rewarded."

Respected French sportspaper L'Equipe was harsh on the Nerazzurri.

L'Equipe: "The Game Of Boredom. Inter Need To Improve To Win The Champions League."

The media can write what they want. As mou said last night those who criticize the performance do not understand football.;)

Anti football ftw... now where's Genius/Cantera to give us grief :D
