The Official local 1 Day Cup 2011 thread

Meh rain staying away now, wonder if its a slow pitch at Kingsmead, certainly will be a slow outfield with the recent rains.

So can the Dolphins do it again? It looks gettable. And where is Hashim?

On the strength of previous games, they could chase this one down.

The other teams will eventually decline to play the Dolphins as there is a greater than even chance of wash out.

The rain wont last long, I vote we change Dolphins home to somewhere in Somalia, will ease the drought there :p

It hasnt rained here at all yet. How bad is it raining there? Only need to play 1 more over for a result :(

It was dry, went to a funeral for about an hour, when i left it was wet, was not very heavy mostly drizzle. Where do you stay?

Im sure Kingsmead's drainage will dry the ground up fast, the clouds seem to be moving away from the stadium

WHat time do they call it off?

Cant be too long since"In the new rules, no extra time will be allowed in the event of bad weather and overs will be discounted immediately for playing time lost." The Cobra's match is on 43 overs so they would have to start soon.

No result ffs. Whats that 4 home games 4 no results. Once it starts raining here they never go on again, is the drainage that bad or did it not stop raining at all?

Since there is no extra time and teams start losing overs the minute they walk off, usually taking off the covers takes about 30 min, plus time for rain to end and drainage, guess time add up.
