Morning all
Quick question: I have the below setup for DNS on my Mikrotik:

However I am getting the following DNS servers on my PC:

Is that how it works due to the Dynamic servers assigning other DNS servers as to what I have? And how can I get it that my static DNS servers are used?
100% this, the DNS addresses that you specify is what the Mikrotik itself will use for lookups. The DNS you specify under your DHCP server entries is what is handed out to the clients in that specific pool. You probably have them setup in the dhcp server.
Thank you, your invoice is in the mailYou guys are so clever!
Is your PS5 connected via Wireless or LAN? Do you have any queues setup?Ok, so I know this is a long shot, as in how long is a string, but if anyone might know, its you lot
As previously mentioned, lost config on a failed version upgrade, and reverted back to a 2 year old ish config. Now, since that, I am having these exact issues:

Like I said, how long is a string, but anyone that might have an idea where to look. Keep in mind I have no other issues. Speeds are on point, ping is correct, no packet loss
Dankie
LAN, no queuesIs your PS5 connected via Wireless or LAN? Do you have any queues setup?
Check for any errors on the physical interface.LAN, no queues
Try enabling it.Could it be because uPnP is not enabled?
Yeah, one change at a timeTry enabling it.
I would also try disabling ipv6 to see if that makes a difference at all. But not all at once, you wanna figure out what caused the issue after all![]()
So uPnP didn't make a differenceYeah, one change at a time
I did figure out though that the ports meant to be forwarded for PSN network and Party Chat (yes, I "fixed" those while busy with all of this) are the same ports used by WhatsApp voice calls ... so I killed the whole network's ability to make WhatsApp calls ... luckily I knew what I changed, so could rectify.
I removed all PSN port forwarding and enabled uPnP ... didn't have a chance to test last night, so will try maybe tonight.
