i thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to sharing info on tablets, since it looks like this market is about to boom with all the announced products. man i need a tablet

anyways, i've been following these tablets quite closely:

notion ink adam:
android based tablet, pixelQI screen, some awesome never-before-seen features.
release either late this year or early next year.

two major reasons why i "need" a tablet:

1) when i'm lying in bed browsing the interwebs, damn laptop is heavy and hot and noisy.
2) reading PDFs on said laptop is also not very comfy.

not really worried about lack of specs because i rdp into my sig computer most of the time anyways

looks quite decent, and it's here now, just one problem though: the price. $900? i'm not so sure it's worthy of that price. just not sure i can hold out for the eee pc though, six months is a long time.

so no one else is interested in tablets?
