How's Pocos software support? I'm weary of these guys and Realme. At least with Redmi and Xiaomi I know the root/firmware option is there if required later on.

I had the Poco 1. Other than the launcher, the software was the same as most Xiaomi phones.

Me too. I got mine for about R4700 and that was including shipping and customs.

I think it is the 5G hardware that is responsible for the big hike. Before 5G is not more widespread and manfactured on bigger scale it is going to be expensive

If you like the F2 I think the K30 Pro is virtually the same phone but a little cheaper.
