Yip and the Note 3 isn't bad at memory handling, my LG G4 would sit at 700mb out of 3gig, with 3 apps
 
Xiaomi to update phones to MIUI9 and the list of phones is long.

I'm tempted - wonder how much better it'll be than the Redmi 4A I'm currently using.

I also said that in the Note 4 thread.

Oh and the Note 5A is coming out next month..... With SD630 still not an upgrade but the Note 5 with 660 coming close to the end of the year will be worth a look for you.
 
Still haven't got a note 4 yet lol, leaving for overseas trip next week and will be back mid August... Will prob wait it out for the note 5...

Anybody had this message as a notification "miui has been modified which puts your device at risk". I have done the latest update but the message is still there

No idea bud. Congrats on the Note 4 though. You will feel right at home coming from the 4A. My colleague who has one is still very happy with his but comparing it to my Note 4 it's day and night difference ITO speed when multitasking. Otherwise, not much but the battery life should astound you.

@Digitaluser, are you using Lite mode by any chance?

Yeh, main push was the battery life - 4A was sitting at 20% at 3pm with heavy use - just not enough to get me to 5pm :p

You've got me thinking, perhaps the Note 3 ones will fit? They are going for R30 on mia.africa.com/za right now...

I also have a clear TPU case for the Redmi Note 4 if you want. Been laying in my desk drawer for a few weeks now and hasn't been used. You will just need to organise shipping or collection from me in PE.
