The Official Xiaomi Thread

I found the ones I ordered with my phone - they certainly not for the Note 4 Global... don't fit at all - glad I forgot I was prepared to sell them to a forumite.

My 4A is restarting randomly. More so with the new firmware!!! Jeepers, will install the developer one and see if there's a difference?

Bond, have you tried doing a factory reset? Might be worth the trouble to see if anything software-wise is messing about. Which network are you running off of? Does the problem arise when on Wifi with mobile data off?

Tried factory reset. No go. It restarts both on mobile and WiFi. I'm on different network but mainly MTN.

//Hopes it's not a hardware/battery problem...

That's a bummer

Reason I mentioned it is because my old Moto G used to randomly restart when it couldn't find cell signal for a certain amount of time - almost like a ping watchdog but a bloody annoying one as it would then ask for my PIN code and if I haven't checked my phone in a while I usually have quite a few missed calls

It looks like he tried prying it open, perhaps inserted something into the hole that you are supposed to use to remove the SIM card tray?

Thats what they say. Also don't know if the owner did something to it beforehand either.

Like I said if this is a known flaw we would have seen more reports of this happening. The phone been selling for more than 6 months and this is the 1st one that explode?

Must be an isolated incident. I hope.

Either way, mine is sleeping in the basin tonight :D :D :D

So over the moon! It's been 8+ hours since my phone restarted! On the developer firmware.
