Yip. It's total BS on a Samsung etc that one can't delete those which you don't use/want/need

It's a configurable shortcut button that you can move around the screen that houses five preselected shortcuts (Back, Home, Context Menu, Take Screenshot etc) which is useful if you use your device one-handed
 
I found All In One Gestures to work better than the Quick Ball. Just create hotspots on your screen and tap to activate things like back, menu, etc.

Yup. On my S3 mini it was kleek and some other arb tjol that insists on getting updated and hogging the CPU
Sometimes the same phone would just get stuck doing something and drain the battery quickly. My hatred for Samsung started there.
 
Lots of Samsung phones have been getting the facebook and facebook messenger apps OTA without their consent lately... very dodgy.
 
Saw a pouch for 4.7" phone on sale at Takealot today. Those things make it so easy for a phone to get nicked.

I'm sure it's fine if you wear it towards the front of your pants hidden by a shirt. But yeah, any would-be crim would see where you place it and try and nick it. That and rear pockets on denims are very risky too.

I'm sure if you wear a t-shirt that hangs a bit over it thereby concealing it it's a bit better than having it out in the open for all to see. I wear a Leatherman on my waist and haven't had anyone take a chance on it yet (touch wood)

I get a much slower DL speed when tethering the phone and using LTE compared to setting the phone as a hot spot for the computer to connect to...
LTE (USB Tether): 447kbps max
LTE (Wifi ): 800+kbps
 
so i bricked my p9 lite and am in the market for a new phone, been looking at the note 4 from afrihost @ R3599 with 12 months 500mb data. i see the note 3 is R2799 with 1gb for 12 months. i see the Redmi 4x is out for R2799 Here.

I'm undecided, this will leave me completely broke so the saving by taking the 4x or note 3 would be nice, but at the same time it might be worth it to get the note 4 in the long term. advice?
