Either i'm doing something wrong or there is some kind of identifier from the email link you received.
I end up with this before check-out.
After adding shipping and applying an availabe coupon i get R4729. which is more than just getting it from MIA. Though it would be in the color i want.

Noticed that before. Must be an exchange rate problem.
 
Well that sucks. What do i do to end up on R3350 like Vis1/0N then?
Tried various combos of incognito and adblockers enabled/disabled on opera, firefox, brave, chrome and explorer.

Tested the browsers at work - https://www.gearbest.com/promotion-VERY-BEST-OF-XIAOMI-special-1635.html Emerald Gree and Blue versions with coupons GBNOTE8P4 and GBNOTE8P7 for R3073 and the black version for GBNOTE8P2 for R3443. Did you use the applicable coupon or some other coupon that you had accumulated?

I tried to create a new account but the activation email is not coming through so I cannot test what happens when I apply the above coupons at checkout. Existing account is allowing me at the promotion price without needing to apply the above coupons, so I can still stack other coupons.
 
Thanks Vis1/0N. Not sure what the issue is/was but i could not get it to work on my personal pc last night. But managed to get it right on the work laptop now. down to R3428 :). cant stack any of my other coupons over the GBNOTE8P4 one though.
 
Hey folks. Looking at picking up a Note 7 or Note 8. The Note 8 is newer and has a newer CPU and GPU, but this doesn't necessarily mean a faster phone? Some of the benchmarks I've seen put the Note 7 at faster than the Note 8. What are the other benefits a Note 8 offers, because on paper it doesn't seem that much better?

The Note 7 is also on special at MIA Africa for R2.8k so I really don't see any reason to fork out for a more expensive phone if it's actually slower than the older model.
 
Just bit the bullet on the Gearbest offer (thanks Vis1/0N).
1200 cheaper than local. Lets just hope customs doesn't work out more than that.

Isn't the 8 only about 300 more? I'm probably going to have to decide by tomorrow :p

Do these phones have wireless charging?
