3/32 model?Redmi S2
Yep. 3/32.3/32 model?
Said it was "discontinued" hence the cheap price. And also the Redmi 6A was R799. Same reason.3/32 model?
Yeah not bad deal. Bought my mom a redmi 6 recently for R1799 (minus R150 takealot coupon), she is older than 70 and still manage to use the xiaomi with ease. The A models is bit sluggish cause they only have 16GB though.Said it was "discontinued" hence the cheap price. And also the Redmi 6A was R799. Same reason.
Yeah these models with 16GB not worth it.Redmi 7-R1999
Yeah you right. The only saving grace maybe is the cpu/gpu.Yeah these models with 16GB not worth it.
Not really going to make a difference cause all the modern apps are big and you gonna run out of space and phone will become sluggish because of thatYeah you right. The only saving grace maybe is the cpu/gpu.
Phones become sluggish because of RAM/Memory issues not space issues afaik. Same concept with desktop/laptop.Not really going to make a difference cause all the modern apps are big and you gonna run out of space and phone will become sluggish because of that

Storage also influence reponsiveness cause apps cache to storage. Almost like virtual memory with pc / laptopPhones become sluggish because of RAM/Memory issues not space issues afaik. Same concept with desktop/laptop.
Yes. True. But that happens when you're down to your last megabytes. Not when you have 1.2GB free or even 500MB free.Storage also influence reponsiveness cause apps cache to storage. Almost like virtual memory with pc / laptop
Still I wont advise anyone to buy a 16GB phone. For R100 or R200 more you can get a much better performing device.Yes. True. But that happens when you're down to your last megabytes. Not when you have 1.2GB free or even 500MB free.
Space =/ better performance. But it doesn't hurt spending a few hundred more.Still I wont advise anyone to buy a 16GB phone. For R100 or R200 more you can get a much better performing device.
Better performing in the sense of more useful, being able to install more apps. Have you seen the average app size these days, not to mention how many people take stacks of photos and some of these entry level dual sim phones use the second sim slot for memory card so if you want to use both sims you stuffed as far as expanding storage.Space =/ better performance. For one it won't perform better because all those apps will be taking some chunk of the RAM.Better performing in the sense of more useful, being able to install more apps. You must have misread my previous post. It is not all about cpu performance or whatever. It is about a total user experience and that is achieved though different hardware components. Just because you can run 10 apps at "full speed" on a 16GB phone does not make it a great phone. A modern 32GB phone is a more balanced device. For one it won't perform better because all those apps will be taking some chunk of the RAM.![]()
