Hi all, I collect old DSTV stuff, like old decoders and their manuals and things.
At this moment, I am looking for the user manual of a very old Panasat IRD 520 from c. 1996. It is a soft-cover A4 book in landscape orientation. The front cover is an image that looks like the colour bars on a test pattern with a picture of the earth and a television, and it says 520 on it. I am looking for someone who might have owned this box back then who may still have the manual (the decoder of course no longer works). I have looked on the web but can only find the manuals of the newer decoders. I am thus looking for the hard copy.
Is packaging essential? Packaging is not essential, it should fit inside a normal C4 envelope.
Desired age and condition - It will be about 20 years old, so it doesn't matter.
Location - I am in Cape Town, but will give further details via PM.
Willing to accept a shipped item? Yes. I would prefer to use something like PostNet to PostNet. I would do an EFT to you and then just pick it up at my nearest branch (which I will PM).
I am willing to do about R100 or so (plus shipping), but I am flexible.
