Hi guys,
Here's a query I have that I can't figure out, its the first time I've seen it,
perhaps anyone of you guys have had this?

We renewed one of our users' laptop, and of course his E620 modem doesn't fit anymore, with the new type expresscard slot.
So I give him an E220 USB modem.
It picks up the modem, installs the software, shows the MTN signal, but then, when u click Connect, as usual, it tries to connect, and then comes up with a message (looks like part of this MTN Fastlink program) Dial-up connect, as the header, and message " The OperationSystem is not Supported".
WTF is that?! The operating system is Win XP, the modem works fine on another laptop.
When I use the mdma (Ginggs's) program to connect, it works, so it seems to be in the MTN Fastlink program where the problem is.
Anybody got any ideas?

I'll give that a shot... just tried with Ginggs' custom proggy, that worked.
Strange thing is,... first time I installed it 2 days ago, it worked as normal.
just since yesterday it started this ****.

I've added a manual connection, to dial *99#.
Clicked dial, worked 1st time. Like the Ginggs prog.

Wots odd is, if I disconnect, and try re-dial immed, I get error 619.
But if I keep on redial, it does connect after a few 619s.

But the MTNFastlink proggie just shows finger.
I uninstalled, re-installed, used a different E220.

Could it be a security setting in Xp (sp3)?
Just haven't seen this on my other Xp sp3 laps.
