When it comes to web browsers, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and Google's Chrome get all the attention. But they're not the only web browsers on the market, nor are they necessarily the best.

The other web browsers

Maxthon's interface mimics that of IE rather than Firefox.
That's because it is IE (they both use the same rendering engine: Trident)

I have used just about all the web browsers there are for Windows. They suck. Deleted them all and use IE.

You're doing the internet wrong if the best browser you've used in IE.

Ja, I downgraded to Windows 2000 just so that I can use IE5 again. Its fast and doesn't have the bloat the modern ones have.

Just an aside though, has anyone also found that not all sites work with IE5 and IE6? Its probably just bad web develolpers. I've also found some of my email accounts like gmail and hotmail locked for no reason, but I just create new ones. I also don't know why I've had quite a few fraudulent credit card transactions coming through.

Anyway, i still love IE, especially IE5 and IE6, but I'm sticking to IE5 because its lightweight and it "sucks" the least.

Brilliant!
Thanks. :D

@Fudzy yes, that is strange, and even StatCounter have not yet cottoned on to the fact that FF 3.6 is out which further distorts their graphs:

SA: http://bit.ly/d3FSS4 and The World: http://bit.ly/c4s9Ow eagerly wait for StatCounter to become aware of FF3.6 about 19 hours ago from TwitterBar

@statcountergs May I introduce you to Firefox 3.6 http://bit.ly/9EBpoR The Wedding may be brief, but please let it Count about 18 hours ago from Power Twitter

@Claymore They have seen the light. (but I still don't need a Chinese trojan.horse on my machine, so no ... I won't install. :-)

edit: dual rendering engines: trident and gecko prior to v3 alpha which is now trident and webkit. (still the tridant reliance in v3 ...)

They forgot about Konqueror ;)

I've used various Linux desktops with KDE, and for the life of me, I can't figure out the functional difference between Konqueror and Firefox. Aside from Konqueror doubling as a file browser, of course. (Which I do still prefer to Dolphin.)

Firefox is awesome, FF latest upgrade already supports CSS 3 so you can get browser rendered rounded corners. Its also much faster.
