So if they are there of their own free will (don't know how this applies to the children ) they can rightfully be classified along with the rest of the radicals and be treated as such.

Is it not hypocritical of the "heavily armed militants" in the mosque to have women and children in there with them (of their own free will or not), knowing full well that the paki military is about to wipe them out? It's not like they haven't been offered the opportunity to release the women and children, or for that matter to surrender and end this thing peaceably

Exactly. There is no hypocrisy here, those radicals are just a bunch of murdering fanatical cowards. Who would allow their child to stay in a such a dangerous place by their own free will.

I don't think a mother on this planet would have accepted that.
