Will wait up a bit. Have to reset or check the alarm anyway. Have noticed loadshedding keeps disabling the beams. One thing ponder Ive always been partial to Asus motherboards. Ive never had one fail on me yet.

Edit. Actually will wait till power is on. Linking stuff on my phone is difficult.

That Asrock board is a good price, man I literally bought my 2600 two weeks ago and paid R500 more. Also the 2600 is R2799 from takealot.

Whatever you do buy that CPU now! It's on special and R450 cheaper than anything else and includes a new game, you might as well order all the listed components from the Rebeltech links as they are the cheapest, hard drive is another R90 off.

I know you wouldn't buy it if it was not a good board, I've just always been pro Asus. If you guys can attest to this makers reliability then sure I'll go for it. I've had several boards die on my in the past mostly Gigabyte. Last one I used was 10 years ago, have been Asus since then.

I've had two Asrock boards an old 939 from 2001 and an AM2 one, both were rock solid.

Ordered, done, at last. I just need a cooling fan for it which one do you recommend?

Shouldn't this thing come with a stock cooler? Guys like me will be left with a CPU block and no clue what to do next.
Did you get the 2600? If so, you won't need a cooling fan the wraith stealth it comes with will suffice if you don't do much overclocking.

AMD bundles the Wraith Stealth cooler with the 2nd Gen Ryzen 5 2600 processor, featuring a low profile and excellent thermal performance.

Yeah I see it there in the details. No I never overclock, never have. Ok I've taken the dive. Ordered and super happy about it. Will sort out the motherboard etc later. This is the thing I needed to get out of the way was just waiting for a good deal. Owe you one Ponder.

Hi Everyone, I'm thinking of buying a Mecer 200VA Line Interactive UPS. Can you give me your thoughts about this please?

I assume you mean 2000va. What is your objective with this UPS? A UPS is meant to run for a few minutes while you either turn off or switch to an alternative power source. It works as a UPS, what else can one say?
