Hey Guys

So i bough an i5-11400f, 3060 GPU and I also want to buy a B560m motherboard.

For the case I am looking at this

Need a recommendation the ram and case fan?

Is there a real difference between a high [pressure and normal low noise fan ?

Fan size, speed, and placement will influence cooling as well as how much dust gets into your system (even with dust filters, there are still loads of openings it can get in through). You need positive pressure inside the case, and while the quiet fans may be pleasant, they may not be strong enough at that RPM. So the setup should ideally be the higher RPM fans in front to force more air into the case than it can get out the back (which also forces the remaining air and dust out of the other holes in the case).

Edit: just checked out the fans you linked. Fractal makes good stuff!

Get 2× 140mm fans for the front of the case...bigger fans can spin slower and still move air efficiently. As long as more air is going in than coming out, you'll be fine so play with the fan curves in bios till you get a comfortable sound profile.

On the RAM side, CL16 3600 is fine - check the motherboard QVL for what they've tested. G.Skill Ripjaws is usually cheaper than most other kits (no RGB) while using the same NAND as their Trident stuff.

Looking at that case some more, the front looks closed off except for some ventilation on the sides. Check if there's something with a mesh front in the price range you're looking at or if someone's reviewed that case and given it the thumbs-up.

Aha ok..... And what would you say is a good price ?

And yes. That ninkompoop put me on ignore.
R 1 500.. I have had a look through carbonite and there is nothing recent that comes close to this deal, assuming you have the winning bid..

Yip heard the airflow on the front is not great that is why I want to install a top fan

Would it be better to suck air in from the top or exhaust from the top

You want to exhaust from the top.. hot air rises, so you want to complement that by exhausting from the top, instead of pushing against the hot air..

Thanks the case has vents at the front so if I exhaust at the top and back it should be fine I hope, Does a cpu cooler impact the equation or not really ?

Can do 2 x 140mm in (front), 1 x 120mm out (back/top). The CPU cooler (and GPU) only adds hot air.

The case you are looking at does have vents at the sides, which are minimal and does restrict air flow.. a vented front would allow better air flow..

Yip but can't find a nice small compact I like with front mesh... Are all fans standard and the way you install them determines if the pull in or push out air ?

There's usually a small arrow on the side of the fan indicating the direction of airflow.

A lot of fans include the spin and air direction somewhere along the side of the fan body, so you can orientate it to push or pull air..

The Phanteks P300/A should be about the same size as the case you were looking at.
