How fast is the Porsche Panamera GTS?
We put the Porsche Panamera GTS through its paces on our test strip to find out how it fares in our stringent acceleration and braking regimens.
For the January 2026 issue of CAR magazine, we put the Porsche Panamera GTS through its paces on our test strip; testing the German marque’s performance sedan’s straight-line and braking performance with our trusted RaceLogic Vbox.
Porsche Panamera GTS acceleration times
On our test strip, the (2 065 kg, tested) Panamera GTS completed the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.82 seconds; only two-hundredths of a second shy of the German marque’s claim (3.8 seconds). In addition, we managed to best Porsche’s claimed 0-160 km/h and 0-200 km/h figures — 9.1 and 14.6 seconds, respectively. Indeed, on our test strip, the Panamera GTS breached the 160 km/h and 200 km/h markers in just 8.88 and 13.97 seconds, respectively. The Panamera GTS covered the quarter mile in 12.02 seconds at a speed of 186.62 km/h.
The overtaking acceleration times were equally impressive, with our test equipment recording 80-100, 100-120, and 120-140 km/h times of 1.13, 1.39 and 1.68 seconds, respectively. Noteworthy, the Porsche’s tested 80-120 km/h figure bested its maker claim, 2.52 versus 2.56 seconds.
