It's pronounced differently everywhere.
Almost like people had a heart attack lately when local Total actually started calling themselves Toe-tal and everyone was like "why did they change it" meanwhile they've already been a french company.
With Porsche I jump between the one and the other depending on how fast I need to say it. Unlike Renault which is always Ren-ou to me.
I do laugh thinking of Casper De Vries everytime I have to say Citroen though.
By far the worst for me is people saying Mir-sea-dis instead of Mer-sa-dees.
