Great thread. Never heard of this genre till now. Love instrumental especially where guitars feature.

Scale the Summit are good as well, more prog then post rock but quality nonetheless. Russian Circles is another band people digging bands so far in this thread might enjoy. oh and Pele.

Impressive production with tinges of many of the bands mentioned above glinting momentarily in their music. Give it a listen.

This really reminded (err ok) of Interpol. The vocalist really sounds like the guy from Interpol, and the guitar work was very reminiscent of the Hot Fuss album from The Killers.

Yup, indeed reminiscent of Interpol ... but those were the only songs on Youtube I could find. MUCH nicer stuff on the albums... put on headphones... so much to focus on, so many subtle references... so much yummmmmmmm !
