The potential in DFA working with Vumatel

Dark Fibre Africa (DFA) continues to expand its fibre network, and is set to roll out a lot more fibre going forward, DFA acting chief strategy officer Vino Govender has told MyBroadband.

DFA is owned by Community Investment Ventures Holdings (CIVH), which in turn is owned by a group of investors including Remgro, New GX Capital Holdings, Chlanich, Community Investment Holdings (CIH), and Consolidated Capital Investments.

I have a DFA line running under my Driveway and in front of my house the whole length, but speaking to DFA they don't allow anyone into that fiber loop because it is business fiber only, so if I pay 3x the amount as a commercial package, I can get fiber, logic, none of it exists here

I have a 40mb VDSL so I'm kindof complaining with the bread under the arm, but everyone keeps saying "We are expanding our networks so rapidly" Then they lay fiber next to openserve or Vumatel and pat themselves on the back because their network is getting bigger, but they are not helping people without fiber
