The proper website testing thread

Hey.
Lets start a proper website testing thread. There has been many, but they are normally just for one site. So maybe we can have a thread for this.

Just throw your site in here, and have a look at all the mean comments you get for it.


Let's start with mine. www.krisadams.co.za

First of all. I know that the Navigation in the top of the homepage doesnt show right. I didnt close a div tag, but can only fix it later. The text is just in creation mode, so will fix it all once I have gotten some comments.
 
Funny box (advertising the two packages) jumps around in Firefox?

Grammatical errors in the bit of text on the left that I can see.

Something like "pretty much..." doesn't sound professional :)

Huh? It doesnt jump around in my firefox. Can you be a bit more specific.

Yip, I also like it. It doesnt work in IE tho, coz of the Nav at the top... But as I said, will fix that when I get home
EDIT: As well as the problem of making your font size bigger or smaller will screw up the positioning

The white part of the site jumps up and down over your Black design ;)

Remove that white part :sick:
 
I think you are missing the design. It is the black stuff that is hidden. Then when you hover over it, it will show. Remove your mouse from the window. It should hide. That's what it looks like normal. It makes it look less cluttered

Ok, but it jumps. No hovering.

Check it. Move from the black part to the addrees up top and back again, it jumps and keeps doing it.
 
I made the site. It is supposed to do that. When you are on the "Header" (Thats the black part), it will show all of the header, including the hidden text.

But when you move over to the main body of the page (Thats the white part), the hidden text will not show.

No the idea is briliant.

The thing keeps jumping. It doesn't stay only to the hover part. Might be because i'm using IE but it is jumping even with my mouse still. It works fine the first time that i hover. Once I go back to the white part it just jumps one way ;)

Oh. Sorry man. I understand now.

Hmmm. It works in IE7 (But you cannot see the writing that is hidden)... I will look for the issue with IE6 and find a solution (I assume this is what you are using). But IE6 is probably the worst browser ever, for CSS design etc.. It behaves nothing like other browsers.
