The R13 billion problem facing Telkom
Telkom’s financial results for the year that ended 31 March 2023 revealed a company in financial distress without concrete plans to turn the situation around. [Daily Investor]

I'd love to invest in this company, but not while government owns shares.

Out of principle? Because their strategy doesn't look government driven just pure capitalism greed.
Their strategy? It looks like it's being run by government.
No, not out of principle... whatever that would be... purely out of capitalism / potential. They really are missing a trick on the mobile front. Voda and MTN should be a lot easier to beat than they make it out to be. Just invest wisely in infrastructure and quality staff.

Telkom, capitalism and greed
Telkom doesnt know a profit if it hit them in the face with a hot cross bun
Remember when so many told them their business model is unsustainable but they went ahead anyway, look at them now, the same goes for Cell C
There is a huge margin between profitability and greed and they chose to be stupid

Ok Ubercal

Facilities Leasing and leasing of fibre ducts would have netted them loads of cash.
But no... The dinosaur/monopoly mentality is so strong with this lot of clowns.
