The rand is weaker than it seems

The rand’s relative resilience against the dollar in 2025 is driven more by US dollar weakness than rand strength, with factors outside of South Africa's control largely determining the value of the currency.
 
I've been waiting for it to crash for years after all the expits on MyBB said it would be at R25+ to a Dollar by now. Now I am watching my Dollar holdings erode away every month :crying:
