The reason why Afrihost support is so bad

Afrihost support bad?
Just experienced the polar opposite for the howmanyith time with Afrihost. Re-allocated to a new house. Changed from Openserve to Metrofibre, stressed as hell as how it will work. Well? ... went super seamless. Every person I interacted with was super efficient. Don't know why OP had a bad experience
@Afrigirl @AfriGuy
Thanks @JustJack but unfortunately that is not my experience. It used to be a long time ago but lately not so much. But I'm super stoked that you are happy. It would be a cruel world if we were all unhappy ;)

This is all I keep getting from them. Switch off ONT and Router. Connect directly to ONT and run traceroute. I even invested in the 2x Deco Wifi 6 routers so that I could have good fast internet throughout the house but even with these routers, I constantly have disconnects.

We must make peace with some things; their troubleshooting will always begin with "Please reboot."

Afrihost has the best support in the game.

Unfortunately now when I have an issue, I’m told to send a PM with my email address, only to then be told to turn the device off and on again.
If they are the best, I'd hate to experience the worst. Seems like they're trying to outdo Supersonic on a race to the bottom...

Kindly note that we are aware of a trend in Sim cards failing automated activation upon insertion; this remains an issue even when attempting to manually activate via USSD code *141# or any other generic MTN activation code you may find. The case was confirmed this morning.

The Critical Care Team is enquiring with MTN on this matter.
