Long story short... Forgive my English, I am Russian ...
I went to MTN to port to them from Vodacom because I actually wanted to tap into @AfriNatic Air Mobile awesomeness. When they were busy with my RICA, the consultant told me that they can not RICA any more SIM cards for me because I have RICA'd 10 times with MTN already. I have NEVER used MTN in my life, in fact I do not recall being inside any of their shops.
I told her all this and she did not seem very concerned about it, she told me to go to the police station and write an affidavit that said "I authorise them to RICA more than 10 SIM cards for me", she was not at all concerned about the blatant fraud that had occurred, she was busy on her WhatsApp as she was assisting me, I told her that "a lot of people would love to have the job you're so disrespecting." I went to the police station to report the fraud, you know, just to get the case number in case the kunts to used my details to RICA get up to no good...
But I will never port to MTN because of her nonchalant attitude to the identity fraud that I had alerted her to and her general disrespect for a customer. Something told me she was not shocked because she heard the story far too many times.
What annoys me the most is that a person like me who is generally a law-abiding man could not RICA my sim legitimately, but crooks had done it 10 times using my info.
