The Rick and Morty Thread

So I tried to watch Rick and Morty Season 4 legally in the UK. The only place that you can watch it at the moment is Channel 4. They have a streaming website which has a free version and a paid version with "no ads".

So I signed up for the free version, and I'm like, how bad can it be? There are 2 minutes of unskippable ads before the first episode starts. Halfway in there is a 4 minute ad break. 4 minute! I'm like, F this sh*t, and I subscribe to the paid version which promises no ads.

Start up the first episode again, 40 second unskippable advert. I unsubscribed. Why oh why would I pay you money to watch ads? Sorry, I don't get it. The whole point of a streaming platform is that if I pay money, I don't have to watch adverts.

High seas or go home.

I've been clean of the high seas for years now, thanks to Netflix and Amazon Prime, and even CrunchyRoll for One Punch Man Season 2. Like, FFS, how difficult is it to understand? If I pay you money for streaming, I don't want any ads. Not less ads, I want no ads.

I hear you. Properly frustrating.

I enjoyed episode 5, the Terminator style storyline worked perfectly.

As Showmax had it as a headline feature. Last I checked Netflix was normally slow off the mark rolling out latest episodes of non-Netflix animated shows.
Oooh right fair enough
